This place has the absolute best food ever! Smoked wings are delicious and the brisket just melts in your mouth! So happy they brought back the cornbread!
Ever since Famous Dave's went out of business, we've been on the hunt for a good BBQ in the Lakewood-ish area. We decided to try JSBBQ because it's going to be on DDD next week. It did not disappoint! We ordered the brisket tots as an appetizer & they were amazing!! Whatever magic they use to get that blackened crust on the brisket is worth the trip alone. I had the sloppy Joe (pulled pork & brisket on a bun) with Memphis & mustard sauce. I was so happy they had mustard sauce as many BBQ places don't. It was so good. And collard greens on the side were yummy. My dining partner had the Texas Reuben with turkey & beans on the side. She said it was all very, very good. I want to go back & try the smoked corned beef & also breakfast. Atmosphere was casual. Service was friendly & super fast. No alcohol, but there are plenty of places in Point Pleasant for that. Will for sure be returning.
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We have visited the East Brunswick location but this location has a much larger menu and love the atmosphere.
Whoever heard of barbecue for breakfast? This restaurant pulls it off with panache. Combining classic barbecue, pulled pork, brisket, and fried chicken, it combines breakfast staples such as bacon, eggs and potatoes creating dishes not found elsewhere. Give it a try.
Amazing meats and sides. Light year beyond all other local BBQ. Great staff, too. The sweet tea with mint was refreshing. Might pack a cooler of beer next time we're in.
10/10! i couldn't even get photos of the food - it was too good. you're given chips and a wonderful (spicy) salsa when you arrive. it's delicious but don't fill up because the bbq is fucking fantastic. the ribs are amazing ! great flavor without any of the sauces. the chopped brisket is very flavorful but will keep you up at night farting. service was good and quick. everyone was very nice. cute establishment ! will return
We stopped in a Sunday night for a lite dinner! Ha that's a joke! We started with the tater tot nachos....omg they were fantastic!! A must try!!! My wife and I each had a hand held sandwich....both were excellent I don't think you can go wrong with any of them Service was good and the staff were very friendly
Has to be a little gem down the shore. Can't wait to be back soon. Owners are pretty cool
